Tesco Bank launches #PetFriendsForever for National Pet Month

We know our customers love their pets for the happiness and company that they bring, and understand how big a role they play within families.
This month, we are pleased to launch our campaign to support National Pet Month, which aims to showcase and celebrate the love our customers have for their pets. The campaign encourages pet owners to share their own stories using the hashtag #PetFriendsForever and is part of our sponsorship of National Pet Month, a nationwide celebration to encourage and promote responsible pet ownership.
The campaign will introduce stories from real Tesco customers about their pets, sharing how they keep their pets healthy and happy.
One story within our series features Guy and Jed. Jed was initially trained to be a race dog because of his speed, but it turned out that he wasn’t very good at chasing things. Because of this, he was put up for adoption. Luckily Guy saw Jed and instantly fell in love with him. Jed’s racing days may now be behind him, but he still loves to sprint when Guy takes him to the park. This story will be joined by five others featuring; Amanda & Myrtle, Julie & Pepper, Carmen & Magic, Samantha & Murray and Jim & Bertie.
The stories will be visible in the pet food aisles in Tesco stores, within speciality publications Dog World and Your Cat, at our pet roadshow events and will be shared with customers via our social media channels.
